Tree Farm with the Carters

So yesterday, I had the pleasure of following around one of my favorite families. The Carter's went to Bauman's Farm to get their Christmas tree and I tagged along to snap pictures of the adventure. It was pretty fun, just being able to walk around and be a silent participant. Such a special memory for them and the start of a tradition. I hope that every year I can go and snap their family photo in front of their tree before it's cut down. We were out on the farm for almost 2 hours, and after many different trees, Chris was finally happy with one. Here are a few favorites of the day, including donuts and exploration of the farm :)

Amazing Week

This week has been so crazy and so busy! I have had the most photo sessions this week than I have had ever! I LOVE IT! It is so amazing to have such a great support system and to have people who want what you can offer. It is just simple bliss to be out in the cold, rainy Oregon weather and to be behind my camera lens and snapping away. It is something I dreamed of, but never thought I'd be capable of doing. Here are some of the best shots from the week so far! Oh and that's the best part, I'm not even done yet :)

Beautiful Baby

So late last night, I packed up my camera, grabbed my coat and scarf and headed out the door for some studio time with B. Carter Photography and her baby girl. Miss Tay just turned 3 months a week or two ago, so she was definitely due to have some photo's taken. I was so thrilled with the result I couldn't wait to share! Brittnie and I both got shots the other was jealous of. I love having a photog friend to learn, grow, and hang out with. We're both so in love with photography that it's pretty much all we talk about and it's AMAZING. Let me tell you! Well, I could but I'd go on forever so let's just get to some cute chubs!

Family Weekend

I'm not even sure where to start this post, I have so many happy thoughts going through the thing we call a brain. I had two family sessions the past few days and I am so thrilled with the results. First I met Kim and her two kids who were just a joy to work with. It always makes my job easier when the kids WANT their photo taken and smile every chance they get. It was such a joy to follow these kids around and just capture their joy of being in the park with their mother. I can't even describe how much fun it was, and how much it reminded me of why I am doing this in the first place. Here are a few photo's from the day, I hope they bring so much happiness to this wonderful family.

Next I had the pleasure of capturing Tiffany and her family. Can I just say, that I am SO LUCKY to have had the opportunity to work with such ADORABLE kids over the weekend? I swear they were just so fun to watch and capture their personalities. Anywho, Tiffany was the winner of my giveaway for hitting so many "likes" on my Facebook and I am so glad they won. As a family, they were just so sweet and took direction from an OCD photographer very well, teehee :). They made my job easy with their love clearly showing through my lens and their pure joy of being together. The pure emotion and laughter made all the difference.
